ABOUT GGW
At GGW, we believe that wrestling can be an empowering and transformative experience for all youth. Through our program, we strive to provide children with the opportunity to learn wrestling and its many benefits in a safe and supportive environment. We have made it our mission to bring wrestling to as many schools as possible and make it available to all students.
If you are a school looking to introduce wrestling to your students, please contact us and we would be more than happy to discuss the possibility of GGW coming to your school, free of charge.
Coach Charlie Lind
"My coaching philosophy is simple: ‘development over results’. My job as a coach is to prepare my athletes for the next level of competition, whether that be in college, life, or the Olympics. I have developed countless state qualifiers, 3 state champs, and 1 3x NCAA all-American. I will continue to be positive, relentless, and passionate about growing the sport of wrestling in the girl's division. Giving great Student-Athletes the platform to excel."
COACHES
Coach Kal Lind
Coach Kal, our director of fun, takes a slightly different approach to youth programs of the past. Building game-based practices that concentrate less on the meticulous skill and technique that can create burn-out in an athlete, and more on the foundation of the sport. She considers herself the "most athletic" in her family (even more than her brother Coach Charlie...) and is dedicated to creating a fun and inspiring environment for children to learn and grow to love wrestling all while building a strong foundation for not just wrestling, but all athletics.
